Hammered Steel Dinner Set

Twenty-four pieces for six settings: dinner plates, quarter plates, bowls and tumblers. Each one is hand-hammered, so the facets catch light differently across the table and small marks from use disappear into the texture rather than showing as scratches.

Steel, not melamine

It does not stain from haldi, it does not warp in the dishwasher, it does not craze after a year, and dropping a plate is not an event. For a household that eats together every day, that matters more than looking delicate.

Weighted rims

The rims are rolled and slightly thickened, which stops the ringing you get from thin steel and makes the plates sit flat rather than rocking.

Stacks close

The plates nest within a few millimetres of each other; the whole service fits a single cupboard shelf.
