Carefully packedFor a safe journey
Daal that used to take forty minutes is done in twelve. This is the cooker most Pakistani kitchens actually need: 18/8 stainless steel, a 5 mm aluminium-core sandwich base that spreads heat instead of scorching a ring into the middle, and a lid that seats the same way on the thousandth close as on the first.
Built around the safety system
Three independent releases work in sequence — the weighted regulator vents at working pressure, a spring-loaded secondary valve opens if the vent blocks, and a gasket release gives way before pressure could ever reach the lid seal. You do not have to think about any of it, which is the point.
On every hob
The base is ferromagnetic, so it works on induction as readily as on gas or an electric coil. It is flat-ground rather than pressed, so it sits still on a glass top.
Everyday use
The handles are riveted, not spot-welded, and stay cool enough to lift with a dry cloth. The interior is unlined and mirror-polished, so turmeric and tomato rinse away rather than staining in.

Care
Hand wash the lid and gasket in warm soapy water; the body is dishwasher safe. Store with the lid inverted so the gasket is not compressed. Replace the gasket every 12–18 months of regular use.

Common questions
Which size should I buy for my family?
As a rule, 3 L suits one or two people, 5 L suits a family of four to five, and 7 L suits six or more or anyone who batch-cooks. A cooker is only ever filled to two-thirds, so size up if you are between two options.
Can I use this on an induction hob?
Yes. The base is ferromagnetic and flat-ground, so it works on induction, gas, electric coil and ceramic tops.
How often does the gasket need replacing?
Every 12 to 18 months with regular use. A spare is included in the box. Replace it sooner if steam escapes around the rim rather than through the regulator.
Is it safe to leave on a high flame?
Bring it to pressure on high, then turn the flame down until the regulator hisses steadily rather than rattling continuously. Cooking at a rolling boil wastes gas and does not cook faster.
