Most households own a cooker too large for a weekday. Bringing a 7 litre pot to pressure for two portions of daal wastes gas and twenty minutes. At 3 litres this one gets there in a fraction of the time.
Not a scaled-down compromise
Same 18/8 body, same 5 mm aluminium-core sandwich base, same three-stage safety system as the larger cooker. Only the volume changes.
Fits a small hob
18 cm across, so it sits on a burner without overhanging a neighbouring one, and it stores inside a standard cupboard without turning it sideways.

Care
Hand wash the lid and gasket; the body is dishwasher safe. Store with the lid inverted. Replace the gasket every 12–18 months of regular use.
Before you buy
Common questions
Is 3 litres too small for a family?
For four or more, yes — a cooker is only filled to two-thirds, so 3 L gives you about 2 L of usable volume. For one or two people it is the right size and considerably quicker to bring to pressure.
Does it use the same gasket as the 5 L?
No, the gasket is sized to the 18 cm body. A spare of the correct size is included.
Can I cook rice in it?
Yes — roughly two cups of dry rice is comfortable. Beyond that you are over the two-thirds fill line.
