Two steel walls with a foamed insulating layer between them, and a lid that seals on a silicone ring. Roti put in hot stays warm and pliable for roughly four hours, which covers any normal meal and most late arrivals.
Warm, not sweating
The lid carries a small vent baffle. Without it, trapped steam condenses and drips back down, and roti that started crisp turns damp. With it, the humidity stays high enough to keep bread soft without water pooling on the lid.
Sized for a family
2.5 litres holds about twelve to fifteen rotis, or rice for six.

Common questions
How long does it actually keep food warm?
Around four hours for food that goes in hot. Pre-warming the empty casserole with hot water for a minute before filling adds noticeably to that.
Why can't it go in the dishwasher?
A dishwasher can force water past the seam into the insulating cavity, which permanently kills the insulation. Wipe the outside and hand wash the interior.
Will roti go soggy inside?
No. The lid has a vent baffle that lets excess steam escape while keeping the interior humid enough to stop bread drying out.
